The department is committed to studying fruit and vegetable products as well as tomato products. Research activities, covering the whole production chain, aim to promote the improvement of quality, safety and service standards of products, optimize transformation processes while studying the different applications of innovative processing technologies. These are conducted and developed in collaboration with companies, universities and other research institutions.
