The department has been based at the Angri (SA) section since 2005. Through its applied research activities and support services, it addresses the fishing and aquaculture products chain, ranging from companies handling raw materials and their initial storage down to producers of preserved and semi-preserved fish, as well as to representatives of the sales chain (importers, distributors, etc.), associated companies and ancillary industries (materials and ingredients, packaging, equipment, etc.)
