How to reach us

SSICA is one entity operating in two different locations; Parma (headquarters) and Angri (Salerno). The Angri section, established in 1987, operates mainly in the vegetable (tomatoes) and fish preserving sector, fundamental for southern Italy’s economy.


How to reach SSICA

• By car
The A1 Milan-Bologna motorway and the Parma-La Spezia. Both pass close to Parma.
On the A1, take the Parma exit. On the A15, exit at the Parma Ovest tollgate.
Continue towards the city centre and follow the signs for the railway station; drive past the station (Piazzale Dalla Chiesa), pick up the Viale Mentana until you reach the roundabout at the Piazzale Vittorio Emanuele (known as Barriera Repubblica), then go round the roundabout and take Viale Tanara.

• By train

Take a train to Parma railway station (for the timetable and routes, see: www.trenitalia.it).
At the station, take bus 7, 11 or 14 (for information on public transport, see: www.tep.pr.it), and get off on Viale Mentana, at the roundabout Piazza S. Allende (known as Barriera Saffi); walk along Viale Tanara to number 31/a.

• From the airport
From the G. Verdi Airport in Parma (www.aeroportoparma.it), take bus number 6 and alight at Parma railway station; from there, take bus number 11, 7 or 14; and get off on Viale Mentana, at the roundabout Piazza S. Allende (known as Barriera Saffi); walk along Viale Tanara to number 31/a.

How to get SSICA in Angri

• By car
On the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway, take the Angri exit; turn left and follow the Strada Provinciale 121 for about 400 m, then turn left again.
Continue down to the end of Via Papa Giovanni XXIII (about 1 km), follow Via Fontane for a further 1 km, up to the junction with Via Nazionale.
Turn right and continue to Via Nazionale 121/123.
Alternatively, take the A30 Caserta-Salerno motorway and exit at Pagani-Nocera; at the junction, turn right down Via Padula and continue to the next junction, then turn left.
Continue down Via Zeccagnuolo for about 1.2 km then turn right at the crossroads. Follow Via Migliaro (SP102/SP292) for about 1.3 km, follow Via Termine Bianco for about 2 km until you reach San Marzano sul Sarno town centre.
At the crossroads, turn left down Via Gramsci (SR ex SS 367) for about 3 km until you reach the junction with Via Nazionale; turn right down Via Nazionale for about a km until you reach number 121/123.  


• By train
Take a train to Angri railway station (for timetables and routes, see: www.trenitalia.it). Outside the station, take Corso Emanuele toward Via Nazionale.
At the crossroads, turn left and continue to number 121/123.

• From the airport

From Napoli Capodichino airport, there is a shuttle bus (Linea 35, Alibus) to the central railway station at Piazza Garibaldi (for timetables and routes, see www.trenitalia.it).
There is also a taxi rank in front of the Arrivals hall.
